Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech, in which she took race-baiting to a whole new level by claiming that she was proud of her country for the very first time in her life, will go down in history. Never was the wife of a presidential candidate quite so glaringly ungrateful.
Well, it only took a solid eight years of jet-setting around the world on the tax-payers’ dime to change her perspective. Thats one expensive attitude adjustment…
The First Lady appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talkshow this week, where she discussed her daughters and what she will miss about the White House. She also said she wished “everyone had the opportunity to travel” like she has had, because then they “would feel good everyday about where we live.”
Quite a difference from her overwhelming disappointment with America before she was treated to nearly a decade of pampering, wouldn’t you say?
Of course, the reason we can’t all spend our days enjoying luxury travel accommodations like the First Lady wishes we could, is because somebody has to foot the bill for the Obama Family’s outrageous spending.
Ironically, the vast majority of hard-working Americans who are too busy putting food on the table to travel are already very proud of their country. They’re not the types who require a handout to recognize how good they have it.
Michelle Obama, on the other hand, is just about as self-entitled as they come. She’s in for a rude awakening once she vacates the White House and has to pick up the tab for all the trips to Martha’s Vineyard and Hawaii…
