THE LAST STRAW: University to Kick Players Off Team Who Sit for Anthem

Three University of Nebraska football players have followed Colin Kaepernick’s lead by sitting during the National Anthem, and administrators are not happy about it.

U. of Nebraska regent Hal Daub wants Cornhuskers Michael Rose-Ivey, DaiShon Neal and Mohamed Barry to be removed from their spots on the football team if they continue to sit during the National Anthem.

Colin Kaepernick’s decision to not stand during the national anthem has sparked outrage across the country.
