A hit and run in New Mexico has set the internet on fire. Not because of the actual incident, but because of how the suspect was caught. An armed citizen caught up to the suspect, and held him at gunpoint until police arrived. I am sure the gun Nazi’s hate this.
According to KRQE, the suspect was alleged to have struck a bicyclist with a SUV, thereafter fleeing the scene. The person on the bike “was then dragged by the vehicle as it left the crash scene.” An armed citizen somehow “got the suspect out the SUV and held him at gunpoint while calling police.”
It is unclear how far the bicyclist was dragged before getting free, but the suspect drove “nearly a mile” with the bicycle pinned under the SUV after leaving the crash scene.
