Gene Simmons has a strong suggestion on how to squash the threat of more terrorism.
Liberals were not happy when Donald Trump expressed his plan to reduce terror. It appears that Trump is not alone in his views.
KISS frontman Gene Simmons was asked recently what he would do to battle the terror threat.
Take a look:
As Conservative Tribune reported: KISS frontman Gene Simmons went on the record stating that he is perfectly happy to be profiled and to have other people be profiled if that is what is necessary to win this war. To liberals who hate profiling, he had just two words:
“Everyone needs to get smart. I’m ok with profiling. I want you to stop me first. I want you to stop me because I look a certain way. And if I’m clear, than profile someone else. It’s emergency powers during war. There’s a war going on,” he stated.
Many agree with Simmons that political correctness is making us less safe, and vulnerable to the modern threats of terror presented by Radical Islam. If you are of a similar opinion, Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump has a few ideas that will make you happy.
Breitbart recently reported Trump’s comments:
“You’ll never solve the problem if you’re afraid to use the real name, this is radical Islamic terrorism,” he said, after a bomb went off in New York City and injured 29 people. Over the weekend, law enforcement officials discovered and diffused several bombs placed around the city.
“In Israel they profile, they’ve done an unbelievable job, as good as you can do,” Trump said. “They profile. They see somebody that is suspicious, they will profile, they will take that person in, they’ll check out. Do we have choice? Look what’s going on? Do we really have a choice? … This is only going to get worse.”
This is not the first time Trump has called for such a practice. “Other countries do it, you look at Israel and you look at others, they do it and they do it successfully. And I hate the concept of profiling, but we have to start using common sense and we have to use our heads,” Trump told CBSNews in June 2016.
Trump ridiculed President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on Monday, criticizing them for being weak on terror and failing to address the source of terrorism because of political correctness.
“Our leaders are — I don’t even say ‘weak,’ — I say ‘stupid,’” he said in an interview on Fox and Friends.
Trump warned that these kinds of attacks would continue, as long as Obama and the Democrats continued to welcome additional refugees from Syria into the United States and fail to destroy ISIS overseas.
“These are sick evil people that want to destroy this country, the way we coddle them, and the way we’re afraid to say anything, and we’re afraid to say what the problem is and who they are and they don’t want to say radical Islam they don’t want to talk about radical Islamic terrorism,” Trump said.
It is certainly true that Israeli El Al Airlines has an excellent record in preventing hijackings and acts of terror. El Al has been profiling in some fashion for decades.
Trump’s proposal likely mimics aggressive Israeli counter-terrorism practices, which include racial and religious profiling. Israel’s Ben-Gurion International Airport remains one of the safest airports in the world, in large part due to Israeli security. When asked why security practices at Israeli airports were superior to U.S. airports, an Israeli defense official told the country’s media in 2010, “Oh, that’s simple …We use racial profiling, they don’t.”
Passengers boarding flights in Israel are subject to a battery of questions before boarding their flights. These questions focus on age, race, religion and destination to query the passenger’s potential terrorist threat. Based on the results of these questions, passengers are relegated to different levels of security screening before takeoff.
Do you support Trump’s ideas? Should these profiling practices be in place in America?
