When Gen. James Mattis (Ret.) talks, you should listen.
We do. After all, his nickname is Mad Dog.
Mattis recently sat for the cameras and revealed leadership lessons and events from his 40-year-career. During this interview, he also divulged the full radius of his knife-hand (hint: it’s pretty wide).
The tan coat and purple tie worn during the interview is a far cry from the uniform and brass most troops are accustomed to seeing.
“Always be the toughest and the sharpest out there,” he said during the interview.
The Mad Dog general describes how to be a better leader and warfighter. It’s a long video, but it’s certainly worth the time and easier than reading a leadership book.
