While You Were Distracted By The Election, A Cocaine-Fueled ACTIVE SHOOTER Rampaged

We were tuned in to the Electoral College, while horror unfolded on US soil

He armed himself with a pistol, a rifle, and a shotgun, and ventured outside. He had been snorting cocaine.

The man opened fire in an Azusa, California, neighborhood, forcing voters to hide in polling stations and placing schools and daycare centers on lockdown.

One man came outside to investigate the noise in the San Gabriel neighborhood, and was shot. One lady’s van was fired upon as she drove by, causing her to crash. In the end, the man died, while two women were critically injured.

The unidentified shooter hid when police and first responders arrived to treat the victims. A firefight ensued, with the gunman eventually dying at the hands of the police.

The motive for the shooting remained under investigation, but Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. John Corina said the 45-year-old assailant was on a cocaine binge that had prompted his wife and two children to leave the family’s home Monday evening.

The suspect was armed with an assault rifle with “a rapid fire capability,” Hunt said. Police don’t know if the rifle is fully or semi-automatic.

The shooter immediately fired at least 20 shots at police, said the source.
