Teenager Charged For Assaulting A Teacher With A Glue Stick Gun

It is safe to say that kids these days do not have respect for authority. Even our own President encourages civil disobedience. Children are coddled by their parents, maybe out of guilt? Either way kids are not brought up like they used to be.

Public schools are basically day cares, and we are seeing the repercussions of these actions from school aged children around the country. Just look at the election, kids are walking out of class “in protest”, they have no regard for authority. So it isn’t surprising to see a tantrum by a child when he doesn’t get his or her way…

Fox News:

Police charged a 14-year-old Ohio boy Tuesday after he threw a lit firecracker hidden inside a glue stick at a teacher last month in retaliation for issuing him a suspension.

The Akron student is facing a charge of inducing panic for the Oct. 12 incident.

Police said the former North High School freshman tossed what was possibly an M-80 carved into a glue stick toward his teacher’s desk, but the explosive didn’t detonate. No one was injured.

“We are fortunate. Sometimes you’re fortunate. In this case, it didn’t explode,” Akron Public Schools spokesman Mark Williamson told News 5 Cleveland.

The student in question was suspended for 10 days and no longer attends North High School.

He has a hearing in Summit County Juvenile Court scheduled for Dec. 7. I hope justice is served. Children need to be put in their place!
