The media will do whatever it takes to sensationalize a story to receive more ratings and the photo posted below exposes their lies. The photo was obtained by CNN and has since been making the rounds on the web.
Linsey Davis of ABC NEWS stood in an open field in Woodruff, South Carolina, to report the horrifying story of how a 30-year-old woman had been held prisoner in a storage container by a registered sex offender. Her boyfriend is believed to have been killed by the same man.
As Davis gave her report, viewers saw behind her the “DO NOT CROSS” yellow tape often found at crime scenes. The tape is used to rope off restricted areas.
Her report was seen on ABC’s ‘GOOD MORNING AMERICA’, which attracts about 4.5 million people each day.
Sadly, ABC lied to its viewership. ABC and Davis staged the entire shot.
As shown in the picture below, the 30 feet of ‘crime scene’ tape was tied to ABC News’ camera equipment.
The photograph was obtained by CNNMoney — they claim to have received it from an anonymous source. Reportedly, ABC News strategically placed the yellow tape as a prop used to make viewers think they were somewhere they were not.
“This action is completely unacceptable and fails to meet the standards of ABC News,” Julie Townsend, the vice president of communications at ABC News, told CNNMoney. “As soon as it was brought to our attention, we decided to take the producer out of the field, and we’re investigating further.”
The real “crime scene” — ABC LYING TO 4,500,000 Americans.
