Just when you think your life is rough, someone always does it better and this thug is no exception. A would be robber received an epic dose of karma after he tried to rob the WRONG gas station. The thug undoubtedly hadn’t planned on running into the likes of former WWE wrestler Shad Gaspard, who was one-half of the Cryme Tyme duo.
Standing at 6 feet 7 inches tall and tipping the scales at 285lbs, it goes without saying that 35-year-old Shad Gaspard is a force to be reckoned with, whether it be inside or outside of the ring.
Surveillance video shows Gaspard walking into a Valero convenience store in Coral Springs, Florida, when he’s approached by a man in a light-colored shirt and dark pants.
According to Gaspard the suspect, identified by police as 35-year-old Jason Felix, first ordered Gaspard to buy him a beer.
“He lifts up his shirt and reaches and grabs a gun,” Gaspard told WPLG. “So he puts the gun into his waist belt and he goes, ‘You need to get out of here, man, because I’m about to rob this place.’”
Gaspard went straight at Felix, tearing the pistol out of his hand. The hulking former wrestler, who is listed at 6 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 285 pounds, forcibly escorted Felix out of the store, put him in a choke-hold and slammed him to the ground.
Fortunately, the weapon ended up being just a BB gun. Gaspard held Felix until the police arrived.
