LIBERAL MADNESS: High School Math Has Never Been About Sexual Assault, Until Now

Maya Angelou’s sexual assault experience has nothing to do with math. It makes sense only if you are a wacky liberal…

A Pennsylvania High School is supposed to be teaching students geometry, algebra, trigonometry, and other math course to prepare them for college. What in the world does Maya Angelou’s alleged sexual assault experience have to do with math?

Buzzfeed reports:

Pennridge High School students were asked: “Angelou was sexually abused by her mother’s _____ at age 8, which shaped her career choices and motivation for writing.” Using the math formula given, they had to choose either “boyfriend, brother or father” as the answer.

The question was absurd and a number of parents complained. Eventually, the school issued a statement:

“We apologize to anyone who was offended by the content of the assignment and have taken steps to avoid such occurrences in the future,” Pennridge School District superintendent Dr. Jacqueline Rattigan said in a statement provided to BuzzFeed News.

“The homework worksheet in question was downloaded from a website that allows teachers around the world to share educational resources. It is not part of our approved curriculum,” Rattigan said in her statement.

The debate continues, on Twitter, however, and some of the liberals who comment there are making no sense whatsoever. Take a look:

Whatever. It was a math class, right?
