Didn’t this kind of tired rhetoric from Obama get old eight years ago?
If you were wondering when President Obama would start weighing in on current events again, today is apparently the day.
The former president’s office issued a statement this afternoon expressing support for the protests going on around the country after President Trump‘s travel ban.
You can read the full statement below:

Statement from Kevin Lewis, Spokesperson to Former President Obama
President Obama is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country. In his final official speech as President, he spoke about the important role of citizen and how all Americans have a responsibility to be the guardians of our democracy – not just during an election but every day.
Citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.
With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion.”
Blah, blah, blah. Same old tired rhetoric from a community organizer.
I agree with many of these Twitter users. Do you?

Liberals are in disarray, still, after the Presidential Election of 2016, and they are not likely to get over the shock anytime soon. Truthfully, all they can truly do is protest and whine while Trump gets things done.
Isn’t American great?
