One of the biggest events during the inauguration ceremonies is the Inaugural Ball. Trump’s advisers have suggested to him that he do one thing during the ball to improve his image.
They have selected a dance partner for him or at least for one dance.
That’s right, Caitlyn Jenner. I admit, it’s a great PR move, but only if the Donald is comfortable with it.
Caitlyn Jenner, formally known as Bruce Jenner, the famous male Olympic athlete, made waves in Summer, 2015, when she changed her name and gender. Dancing with Jenner would work to mollify fears in the LGBTQ community surrounding the Republican Party, not to mention the president-elect himself. When Caitlyn was known as Bruce, he was an avid supporter of the Republican agenda.
“It’s a brilliant idea,” an incoming member of the Trump administration told reporters. “The image of Trump dancing with Caitlyn would send a strong message that he supports gay rights and trans rights,” the Republican told reporters. “A picture is worth a thousand tweets.”
The president-elect is hosting three inaugural balls this week — far fewer than other presidents who have come before. Rowanne Brewer Lane, an old love interest of Trump, will also be in attendance at one of Trump’s balls. She lambasted the New York Times last May for misreporting their relationship.
