Tom Arnold is important. If you don’t think so, just ask him.
In fact, just days before the presidential election, he held the fate of the free world in his hands – at least that’s what he said in an interview for the Australian reality television program, “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”
Arnold, who had claimed during the election that he had damaging evidence of candidate Donald Trump disparaging both women and blacks contained in outtakes he had received from the producer of Trump’s own U.S.-based reality show, “Celebrity Apprentice.”
Now, months after the election, Arnold has a new claim – maintaining that he received a “panicked” phone call from Democrat candidate, Hillary Clinton, begging him to go public with the tapes.
“She called me two days before the election and said ‘please release that.’ The weight of the free world is on your shoulders.”
Faced with such overwhelming pressure, Arnold somehow… declined.
He claims he told Clinton, apparently aware that her sure-thing election long been assumed to be nothing more than a mere formality to her near-coronation as the nation’s first female president was slipping away, “I’d love to be a hero, but I can’t hurt these families.”
Then again, Arnold’s only other claim to fame is his current podcast, “Tom Arnold. 100% Honest Pretty Much.”
