Jeremy Schwer, 41, pleaded guilty to child molestation charges after he admitted to molesting his then 6-year-old daughter while she was recovering from a brain tumor in 2013.
The sickening crimes happened after the girl was diagnosed with cancer and both her parents started taking turns of attending her medical needs and care at night. The girl had been losing her memory and ability to speak when she was first diagnosed in August 2013.
The little girl allegedly told authorities that her father touched her “peepeeluca” (the family’s word for her privates) and had her sit on his “cat tail,” according to investigations. She told her mother that it happened every time her father was in charge of looking after her, this went on for about two years. His wife then called the Indiana Department of Child Services and reported her husband’s despicable acts against his daughter.
The court wanted him to serve 9 years in prison with 3 years probation after they sentenced the pedophile, but the girl’s mother, who filed for divorce, wrote a request to the court asking that he not be sent to prison because she needs the creep to financially support her children. Schwer also have to register as a sex offender and is ordered to move out of his family’s home.
Schwer was fired after his arrest and was recently hired to a new job. But according to reports, the father has already been out of jail for the past year and has not helped financially support his estranged family.
