Child abuse can come in a variety of forms. However, one way that a grandmother chose to abuse her young granddaughter was so sickening that she received a life sentence for it. You will never believe what she did.
A woman from Oklahoma City is accused of terrorizing her 7-year-old granddaughter by dressing up as a witch and pretending to cast spells on her. She has now received a life sentence for her cruel actions.
Geneva Robinson, 51, was sentenced on Thursday to three consecutive life terms. She pleaded guilty to five counts of felony child abuse in February, according to the Oklahoman.
According to court records, Robinson, dressed as a witch called “Nelda” to scare her granddaughter. She said that she would scratch the girl’s neck, striking her face, hit her hand with a rolling pin and cut her hair while she slept.
Robinson’s boyfriend, Joshua Granger, also admitted to helping the abuse, and was sentenced after pleading guilty to one count of felony child abuse. He is expected to serve 30 years in prison.
Police say Robinson was arrested in September 2014, after taking the starving girl to a hospital. This is absolutely disgusting.
