Watch What Happens To These Halftime Performers After They Tried Trashing Trump [VIDEO]

When will liberal learn that most people don’t want to hear about how much they hate Trump. People are fed up with the jabs and protests and no longer want to hear the lies that the mainstream media presents as facts. The media is not the only problem. Recently Stanford’s marching band learned a very important lesson when they tried to bash the President at a half-time show.

The Stanford marching band is learning the hard way, “You Don’t Mess with Texas,” and much less the state’s most iconic fast-food chain, Whataburger.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the show, “Texas: Too Big To Fail?” aimed to present “alternative facts” about the state during halftime as the Stanford Cardinal played Texas Christian University. According to the announcer, it was “sponsored by The Onion and the White House Press Office” — essentially equating the Trump administration’s communications with the American people to a satirical internet website.

“Yep,” another announcer said. “For instance, we all know and love waterburger — a fast-food chain that apparently only serves water.”

“And of course, there’s queso, the popular sports drink that Texans use as a refreshing alternative to Gatorade, yum.”

The incident led to a lot of responses on social media.

The band received some of its loudest boos from the crowd when it joked about Whataburger and queso dip. The band, which is known for its satirical performances, ended by joking about evolution and the Horned Frog, TCU’s mascot.

“Everything is super normal here, yup, for instance, we all love Whataburger, a fast-food chain that apparently only serves water,” the band’s announcer said over the stadium’s speakers. “And of course, there’s queso, the popular sports drink that Texans use as a refreshing alternative to Gatorade, yum.”

Whataburger immediately took to social media to respond to the band’s joke by tweeting, “Maybe if the Stanford band had some Whataburger they wouldn’t be so unhappy.”

This isn’t the first time that Stanford’s marching band has nearly gotten booed off the field. The marching band was banned by the university from performing their skits on road games during the 2015 season thanks to numerous problems related to alcohol and hazing. When the ban was lifted,  the 2016 Rose Bowl, University of Iowa fans booed a skit that included references to cow-tipping and dating site FarmersOnly.com. Obviously, their jokes don’t go over too well and it’s time to give it a rest. What do you think?
