Kirsters Baish| Yesterday, 38-year-old Jarrod Ramos, of Laurel, Maryland, stormed the Capital Gazette building in Annapolis, shooting and killing five journalists and injuring others. We do have confirmation that the attack was deliberate and targeted, as reported by Anne Arundel County Deputy Police Chief William Krampf. The Baltimore Sun explains that Ramos had a long-standing issue with the Gazette, which goes back six or more years. Ramos had sued the paper back in 2011, however, he lost the case.
Today, President Donald Trump stood in front of a supportive audience, speaking about his highly effective tax plan which was put into place earlier in the year. When President Trump was finished with his comments, CNN’s Jim Acosta (who we all know is no fan of our Commander in Chief) attempted to yell over the crowd at Trump. Of course his question had to do with yesterday’s shooting. It’s a no brainer for the liberal media to try and blame this one on Trump because of a simple comment he made in which he said that the media is the “enemy of the people.” The truth of the matter is that this man had been trying to take down the paper for years. It had nothing to do with Trump.
Take a look at what Jim Acosta tweeted after the fact.
Take a look at the video below in which Acosta can clearly be seen yelling at President Trump. The man in front of him turns back not once, but twice to tell him to quiet down.
Acosta went on to add that he would not be shushed.
We also had a few folks who shushed is in the audience. Of course we are not going to be shushed.Jennifer Jacobs
Trump didn’t appear to hear any of the questions we called out to him at the end of the tax reform anniversary event. Notably, when the very friendly audience realized reporters were yelling to Trump, they increased the volume of their applause and whooping to override the press. https://twitter.com/Acosta/status/1012742143948050432 …
Bloomberg’s Jennifer Jacobs also put her two cents in:

I tried to ask the president if he would stop calling us the enemy of the people. He did not respond.
These guys really have got to get a grip on themselves. All Trump was doing was trying to give a tax speech.
President Trump did later make a statement about the shooting.
President Trump shared his condolences for the lives lost in the shooting, saying “Journalists, like all Americans, should be free from fear of being violently attacked while doing their job.” When is CNN finally going to learn their lesson and stop allowing Jim Acosta to attend any events or briefings having to do with the White House? This man is a liability to their failing network.
