The hammer has finally fallen on former CIA Director John Brennan and the White House is done with his unprofessional behavior and actions. They’ve finally taken action.
White House Press Secretary had previously confirmed that the White House was looking at revoking the security clearances of former Obama administration officials who were no longer in office and who had been involved in questionable actions and/or social media attacks.
Sanders today confirmed that President Donald Trump had revoked the security clearance for Brennan.
And she read the statement from the president.
“I have decided to revoke the security clearance of John Brennan, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Historically, former heads of intelligence and law enforcement agencies have been allowed to retain access to classified information after their government service so that they can consult with their successors regarding matters about which they may have special insight and as a professional courtesy. Neither of these justifications supports Mr. Brennan’s continued access to classified information.”
