It comes as no surprise that the biggest racists and race-baiters in America were present at the funeral for the deceased #MikeBrown.
The teen was fatally shot after attacking and severely injuring a #Ferguson police officer on August 9, 2014. Rioting and looting soon followed by many in #Ferguson and the surrounding communities, proving that they would be better suited to living in a cage as evident by their animalistic behavior.
I don’t know what’s more pathetic, that people are memorializing someone who proved to be a thug as he took his last breath after brutalizing a police officer, or the fact that his funeral was attended by THOUSANDS.
It was attended by many who, when countless young black men lose their lives in Chicago each year to drugs and violent crime, they rarely bat an eye. And why did they attend? It wasn’t because he was fatally shot, because that’s nothing out of the norm, but that it was by the hand of a “white” cop.
Thousands of people attended a Baptist church in Missouri on Monday in order to mourn and celebrate the life of Michael Brown, a young, unarmed black man who died after being shot by local police.
The funeral took place at the Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church, attracting a large crowd as well as prominent figures such as Rev. Jesse Jackson, children of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., White House officials, Congressional members, and the film director Spike Lee.
I seriously doubt Martin Luther King, Jr., would approve because when he said “I have a dream”, the racism that’s propagated by some of those in attendance at the funeral isn’t what he was dreaming of.
