ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Michael Brown will be laid to rest on Monday.
The 18-year-old was shot and killed by a Ferguson police officer on August 9th. Protests over police brutality and looting has captured the attention of the nation. His funeral is set to begin at 10:00am.
More than 5,000 people are expected to say goodbye to Brown at Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church. That`s well over capacity. Several celebrities and activists are set to attend as well. The Reverend Al Sharpton will speak from the pulpit.
