As students return to school in Argyle, Texas, anyone thinking of causing trouble will find a prominently placed incentive to reconsider. Following a vote earlier this year to approve designating certain teachers ‘school marshals’ and allowing them to bring firearms on campus, the policy is now being implemented as evidenced by a sign in front of district schools.
“Please be aware that the staff at Argyle ISD are armed and may use whatever force is necessary to protect our students,” reads a sign photographed by KDAF.
