A Chick-Fil-A manager got fed up with hearing employees use slang terms while on the job that he decided to create a list of ones that were banned from his location.
“You are a professional, so speak professionally,” Eric writes on the list.
Eric, the manager of the Chick-Fil-A restaurant in question, reportedly made the list after growing tired of hearing employees use popular slang terms while working. An employee at the location decided to post the list that his manager Eric created on Reddit, and already, that post has gone viral.
The list of unacceptable slang phrases includes “cuz,” “Bae,” “Bruh,” “ratchet,” “I’m legally blind,” “turn up,” and probably a dozen more. Eric also lists “Ebola” as a banned word because, as he notes, employees have been accusing each other of having the deadly disease while working. Additionally, the name “Felicia” has been banned from the workplace because, as Eric explains, “There is nobody here named Felicia.” It also appears that someone tried to cross the word “Bae” off the list, but Eric noticed and said that if another word is scratched out, the employees will use their meals.
Take a look at Eric the manager’s list of slang terms he’s tired of hearing from his employees below.
