Bye-Bye Boehner?

As Republicans robustly regained the senate, in a devastating Democrat bloodletting at the polls, in the 2014 elections, conservatives pull together to take back the House, from the progressive, establishment Republican Party in 2015. John Boehner is being challenged for his Speakership and Tea Party conservatives and constitutionalists are calling for action, for to you to make your voices heard.

FOX News reports:

The fledgling rebellion against electing John Boehner to a third term as House speaker gained momentum over the weekend, as nine conservative Republicans declared they intend to vote against the Ohio Republican when the House convenes on Tuesday.

Two of the names purported to challenge Boehner, floating in the media, are Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, and Ted Yoho, R-Fla.

There has not been openly public revolt, historically, as this in Congress since 1923. The momentum builds as more make public statements to vote against Boehner. It only takes 29 votes to unseat the present presumed speaker and they have public declarations from as many as 12 to 14. The vote takes place on Tuesday, when the session convenes.

Among a multitude of policy issues that have enraged Tea Party constitutionalists, the last couple of years have seen establishment Republicans attacking the Tea Party.

John Boehner went on the record attacking the Tea Party in late 2013.

“They are misleading their followers. They’re pushing our members in places where they don’t want to be, and frankly I just think they have lost all credibility. You know they pushed us into this fight to defund Obamacare and to shut down the government. And most of you know, and my members know, that wasn’t the strategy that I had in mind.”

~John Boehner

Blaine Leutkemeyer, in Missouri’s 3rd district went on local St. Louis talk radio, early last year, to make the following statements:

“These groups have a different agenda, that is not a conservative agenda. They do not understand the concept of how to be part of a team.”

~Blaine Leutkemeyer

Here is the complete list of the U.S. House of Representatives, and their phone numbers. Calls are needed, today, to your reps to urge support for anyone but Boehner.

2010 and 2014 have seen a surge of powerful conservative voice, from the people, and results have been revolutionary. If you want your government back, your constitution, your culture, you have to act. No one else is going to do it for you, and certainly, the Republican establishment will not represent your ideals. Make the calls.
