When Eastwood’s much anticipated movie ‘American Sniper’ hit theaters there was some uproar.
The movie, which stars Bradley Cooper as the late Chris Kyle, shattered all previous records ever set for an opening weekend in the month of January and raked in more than $100 million.
It is being proclaimed by critics as possibly the best work Clint has ever produced.
With the tremendous reception the movie has received, it is expected that there will be the talking heads from the liberal left who have nothing but negativity to spew when it comes to paying homage to a war hero such as the most lethal sniper in American history, Chris Kyle.
Here is what one liberal loon, whom we all know as Michael Moore, sent out over Twitter in regards to the movie:
It goes without saying that after Moore aired his opinion on military snipers, he’s undoubtedly at the bottom of the list when it comes to people that Clint Eastwood would consider a friend.
Back in 2005 when Eastwood was accepting an award, he was asked about Moore and he had this to say:
“Michael Moore and I actually have a lot in common – we both appreciate living in a country where there’s free expression,” he said.
Eastwood then added:
“But, Michael, if you ever show up at my front door with a camera – I’ll kill you.”
The audience laughed and Eastwood grinned.
“I mean it,” he added in an I’m-joking-but-maybe-not-really tone of voice, provoking more – albeit rather nervous -laughter.
So, liberal loons…have you any questions?
This is America, where you are free to be as misinformed as you choose. You have the right to be stupid, even to abuse that right. Disrespect yourself all you like but when it comes to disrespecting the troops, that’s where we conservatives draw the line.
I think it’s safe to assume that Clint probably has a few choice words for Michael Moore in response to his misinformed Twitter rant and I’m anxiously waiting for that moment.
