Preliminary hearings landed these four, the boy’s mother Elizabeth Hupp, 38-year-old Denise Kroutil, 58-year-old Rose Brewer and 23-year-old Nathan Firoved, in jail on $250,000 cash bond, each.

The four cooked up an elaborate scheme to kidnap the boy to teach him a lesson in stranger danger. After Nathan Firoved abducted him from his school bus stop, he was terrorized by threats of selling him into sex slavery. During the hearing, a lawyer for four revealed the mother was in contact with Fivored, via text message, to  supply instructions on the boy’s treatment during the “lesson.”

The judge reduced bail for three of the four to $100,000 and $50,000 for the grandmother, Denise Kroutil, due to failing health according to KMOV.com.

Subsequent court dates are in March and April for the kidnappers and they remain in jail pending bond posting.
