Now, one of the officers was sentenced to 4 years behind bars.
39-year-old Jill Curry was fired from her job at a Washington County, Oregon, prison and she was
sentenced to four years in prison for repeatedly having sex with a convicted rapist in a supply closet.
Curry cried in court while she read a statement in which she said that the 25-year-old man seduced her. Curry, who is married to a sheriff’s deputy, pleaded guilty last month to custodial sexual misconduct and other charges.
Prosecutor Jeff Lesowski said that on 13 occasions, Curry removed the man from his jail cell and took him to a supply closet where they had sex.
Jang-Li Delgado-Galban was housed in the jail’s maximum-security unit when he asked 2 female employees to have sex with him.
Delgado-Galban, who is a gang member, is serving time after breaking into a woman’s apartment and raping her.
Judge Charles Bailey was not impressed with her defense and sentenced her to 4 years and two months behind bars.
A second jail staffer, Brett Robinson, was also arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with the convicted rapist. The 32-year-old woman is scheduled to go on trial next month.
