An NYPD officer is under investigation after he was caught on a hidden camera (held by a passenger) ranting like mad at an Uber driver. The unnamed plainclothes officer reportedly stopped the driver after the driver honked at him for trying to park on the street and blocking his way to a green light.
The officer shouts quite a lot at him, saying things like “I don’t know what fucking planet you think you’re on!” and “You gonna let me fucking finish?!” He even asks the driver, “How long have you been in this country?!”
The cop then tells the driver, “The only reason you’re not in handcuffs going to jail… is because I have things to do.”
The NYPD confirmed the shouting man was a plainclothes officer, and their Civilian Complaint Review Board has taken charge of the investigation into the matter.
