A man in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot three times by a homeowner. The man was reportedly trying to break into the woman’s home before she shot him.
KFOR reported that the woman heard strange sounds at her front door at around midnight. While she thought it may have been her husband returning from work early, she grabbed her gun in case she needed to protect herself. When she heard screaming and breaking glass, she opened fire.
Tulsa Police Department Captain Thomas Bell said, “As he was continuing to beat on the door and force his way into the residence, she fired her weapon three times through the front door.”
Every shot hit the man through the door.
