Wow. WOW. Okay. Wow. (deep breath) Wowwwwwwwwwwwwww:
Waco police sergeant W. Patrick Swanton told KWTX today that the weapons included both pocket and “assault-style” knives, and lots and lots of guns, all “evidently abandoned by bikers as they attempted to flee.” One weapon was stashed in a bag of chips.
The Waco, TX location of Twin Peaks, the breastaurant at the scene of Sunday’s deadly mass shootout, had its franchise revoked by the parent company soon after the melee between rival gangs, which left 9 dead, 18 injured, and 170 people arrested.
(We just did the math and estimated that there were roughly 4.5 weapons per bike gang member. That is a lot of weapons per biker.)
Earlier reports indicate that the restaurant was alerted to The United Clubs of Waco’s meeting by the police and by their parent company, but chose to ignore their warnings and, in fact, actually wanted it to be held at their restaurant.
If local media or Waco police release photos of the toilet guns, we will absolutely put them in this post as an update.
