In a preview clip of her full CNN interview––her first national televised interview as a presidential candidate––today, Hillary Clinton lumped Donald Trump in with the rest of the GOP on immigration, saying they’re all basically the same on this issue.
CNN’s Brianna Keilar asked Clinton for her reaction to Trump’s remarks. Clinton said she’s “very disappointed” in both Trump and the rest of the GOP for not speaking out soon enough in condemnation of his remarks about Mexican immigrant criminals.
She said Republicans are on a spectrum with “grudgingly welcome or hostile” at either end, and reaffirmed her support for immigration reform.
