Last year, Mayweather sparked controversy when asked about potentially fighting Rousey.
“I have no idea who he is,” he said at the time.
“I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once,” she said of Mayweather, who was nominated for the same ESPY. “I’d like to see him pretend to not know who I am now.”
Mayweather’s history of domestic violence dates back to 2001 and 2002, when he pleaded guilty to two counts of battery against the mother of his daughter. In 2003, he was arrested for fighting two women at a club in Las Vegas, and in 2011 he served two months in jail for a domestic violence charge.
