A Texas man reportedly captured video footage (shown below) of a woman trying to buy antifreeze at an auto shop to poison a stray dog in her neighborhood.

The woman walked into O’Reilly Auto Parts near Katy, Texas, and asked employee Justin Weynant if antifreeze could kill animals, ABC 13 reported.

“The lady walked in, obviously she was pretty upset, and she asked, ‘What kind of antifreeze kills animals?” Weynant told ABC 13.

He told the woman that antifreeze wouldn’t work, but she wasn’t convinced. Weynant recorded the interaction with his cell phone.

“Are you trying to kill a dog?” Weynant is heard asking the woman in the video.

“There is a vicious dog that has been on the loose for a whole week and animal control won’t get it,” she responds.

Weynant tells the woman that her plan is illegal, but woman’s only response is: “No, it’s a German Shepherd and another one. Two German Shepherds and another one.”

Weynant refused to sell the woman the antifreeze.

The woman is heard saying: “You know what, F*** it, I’ll go to Walmart. I’m not saying let me poison someone’s poodle or annoying Chihuahua. I’m saying this is a vicious German Shepherd on the loose.”

The video was posted on Facebook by Weynant. He hoped that someone would recognize the woman before she hurt any animals.

Resident Shawna Majors contacted ABC 13 and said she recognized the woman in the video and added that the dog in question was far from vicious.

“She’s a monster,” Majors told the news station about the woman in the video. “The dog was very afraid. The dog spent time with my 9-year-old daughter.”

The woman, whose name was not released, posted the following statement on her Facebook page:

“The dog was in my neighborhood for well over a week living on my steps. The dog caused damage to my property. That was a snapshot at my most frustrated and when I absolutely had it.

“Lastly, I never acted on anything and the owner finally came and got his dog.”
