A Franklinton woman has been arrested and accused of being involved in a sexual relationship with a juvenile.
Kimberly Cooke, 40, was arrested after a joint investigation by the Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit, Louisiana State Police and the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office found evidence indicating she had engaged in sexual acts with juveniles.
Cooke was booked into the Washington Parish Prison on five felony counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. If convicted, she faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000 for each count.
The Attorney General’s Cyber Crime Unit investigates crimes that have victimized children from infants to 17 years of age.
