On Monday night, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly opened her show by addressing the dust-up between her and Donald Trump in the preceding few days.
Kelly grilled Trump on his past sexist comments during last week’s big GOP debate and Trump threw a temper tantrum and attacked Kelly personally over it.
Kelly took the high road and refused to even acknowledge Trump’s personal attacks on her, saying, “I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism.”
She was on Fox Sunday morning talking with Howard Kurtz about the criticism of her and the debate, but that interview was taped less than halfway into Trump’s days-long meltdown.
Kelly’s been getting lots of praise from people who don’t normally praise Fox News for her debate moderation, with a Fortune article today wondering if she’s the next Oprah Winfrey.
