A bomb blast killed at least a dozen people and injuring dozens during Bangkok’s rush hour, Thai officials confirmed Monday.
The fiery explosion was the result of at least two bombs reportedly found in front of a popular Hindu tourist site. Police officials told Reuters the explosion “involv[ed] a motorcycle bomb.”
Surveillance footage captured the fireball erupting in the background as passersby and vehicles immediately fled the scene. More video shows the grisly aftermath of bodies covered in tarps and the burnt frames of destroyed motorbikes.
