Air Force veteran John Parker said he was armed but was not allowed to assist the victims during the shooting.
Parker is a student at Umpqua Community College and was in the veteran’s center with other veterans at the time of the shooting. Parker attempted to go help the victims that were being tragically gunned, but officials barred him from helping.
Parker said during an interview with Hannity last night on Fox News,
“I was carrying. And I was ready to help.”
Parker also added that even though he was stopped from being able to help he will still continue to carry . “I’m licensed to carry and I will continue to carry.” Parker said.
