Being the daughter of the president, Malia has had the chance to intern on the sets of two major television shows… the HBO series Girls, starring Lena Dunham (big surprise) and during the summer of 2014, she also worked as a production assistant on Extant, a CBS sci-fi drama featuring Halle Berry. After months of speculation in the media, first daughter Malia Obama may have narrowed her college choices down to two in New York City, according to NBC News.
The 17-year-old Chicago native, who moved with her family into the White House in 2008 when her father first became president, is set to graduate high school this spring and is considering Barnard College and New York University, First Lady Michelle Obama told the television news outlet.
