After a very disappointing performance in last night’s Superbowl, Cam Newton headed towards the press room for his conference. Instead of holding his head high and acting graciously in defeat, he instead decides to show his true colors and acted standoffish when being pressed on issues of his game play. This is no way to act, especially after the spectacular season he played.
“They just played better than us,” he said. “I don’t know what you want me to say. They made more plays than us and that’s what it comes down to. We had our opportunities. We dropped balls, we turned the ball over, gave up sacks, errant passes. That’s it. They scored more points than us.”

Hopefully in time as he matures this disappointing behavior will be nothing but a memory. Better luck next year Cam.
