When a Supreme Court Justice passes away, the President of the United State is usually expected to attend his or her funeral; but Obama didn’t take time out of his day to go to the funeral.

Mr. and Mrs. Obama did, however, stand in front of the justice’s casket for a “moment of silence.”

Here’s how Michelle spent that moment of silence:

The First Lady’s utter lack of respect for the late Supreme Court Justice is hard to comprehend. It is extremely disturbing to see the First Family treat a deceased Supreme Court Justice with such disrespect. However, though, it is not that surprising.

Say what you will about George W. Bush, but at least he was a respectful and dignified president. When Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist passed away, he went to his funeral and even gave a eulogy.
