Lawmakers who recently celebrated the legalization of raw milk almost immediately regretted that decision when they became extremely ill.
The sponsor of the bill brought in some raw milk for everyone to drink after it was no longer contraband. And apparently, it has caused some tummy troubles for the legislators. But, now the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources are investigating.
While many of us believe people should be able to eat and drink what they want without interference from the law, you also have to be smart about what you are doing. You may not end up in jail or fined for what you do, but you might be sidelined on the couch or the bathroom if you eat something that doesn’t agree with you.
