[BREAKING] Bumble Bee Recalls 31,000 Cases Of Tuna, Full List of States Involved

There seems to be an increasing number of incidents reported in regards to food recalls. Bumble Bee Tuna is just the latest suspect in this continuing problem.

From WUSA 9:

Check that tuna before you crack it open. Bumble Bee Foods, LLC is voluntarily recalling 31,579 cases of tuna. While the company says there have been no reports of illness associated with the products, if contaminated, the tuna “could lead to life-threatening illness if consumed.”

In a statement released Thursday the company said, “These deviations were part of the commercial sterilization process and could result in contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens.” Bumble Bee is recalling three versions of tuna identified by three different UPC Codes.

The 31,579 cases were produced in February of this year and distributed nationally.
