Lightning struck the Trump Tower in downtown Chicago on Tuesday night as polls closed for the Republican primary in Illinois, as reported by The Washington Post.
On Instagram, someone posted a video of the lightning striking the Trump Tower. In the caption, the user wrote “lightning storm ironically hitting the Trump building on #supertuesday.”
In northern Illinois, a storm resulted in about six tornadoes, which damaged homes and a church. There were also reports of hail in the area. Donald Trump was the winner of several primaries on Tuesday night including the Illinois Republican primary.
Trump won in Illinois with 38.8 percent of the vote, according to the Associated Press, and will take 49 delegates from the state. Nothing can seem to stop him.
