The next time you stay at a hotel, be very wary, because chances are that the sheets on your bed may not have been cleaned.
One pair of travelers learned this in a rather odd way when, upon trying to lie down on their bed in the Courtyard Marriott where they were staying, they heard a loud “crunch.” What they found underneath the top sheet was a horrifying note that they later shared on Reddit.
“If you’re reading this, then house-keeping did not change your sheets!” the note read.
Had the hotel’s housekeeping staff done their job, they would have removed the note when they changed the bed sheets. Instead the staff members just remade the bed, probably out of sheer laziness.
If you think that this type of stuff occurs infrequently, then you need to think again.
