Saudi Arabia appears to be unhappy…
I Have The Truth has more…
Saudi Arabia is threatening the US… if we expose the 28 sequestered pages of the 9/11 Report, they will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of American assets held by the kingdom. Congress is currently deliberating over passing a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible in American courts for any role in the Sept. 11th, 2001, attacks. This could be the tipping point for our economy. Nevertheless, exposing the involvement of the Saudis would be the right thing to do. They would not be trying to extort us if they didn’t have something to hide here. It must be damning. If true, it is beyond reprehensible that not only Barack Obama has hidden it, but that George W. Bush did as well. I don’t blame the families of the victims of 9/11 for feeling betrayed here. I sincerely doubt Obama will let these pages come to light… his support of the Saudis and Islam is too strong and he is financially tied to the game. He also knows that the US economy would come apart and fast without Saudi oil and investments.
From the Daily Mail:
The families of 9/11 victims in the US are reportedly infuriated at the administration of President Barack Obama for ‘siding with Saudi Arabia’ over a congressional bill that could incriminate Saudi officials for the deadly attacks on September 11, 2001 in America.
The families of victims are making a renewed push to declassify 28 pages of a 838-page congressional report on the worst terror attack on American soil, which points the blame towards Saudi Arabia.
Until now, the Obama administration has so far refused to reveal the contents of the missing pages and looks to be leaving the decision to a Congressional vote.
Speaking to the New York Times, Mindy Kleinberg, whose husband died in the World Trade Center on September 11 said: ‘It’s stunning to think that our government would back the Saudis over its own citizens.’
Ms. Kleinberg is part of a group of victims’ family members pushing for the legislation against the Middle Eastern country, however so far all attempts to sue the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have failed.
The group says the Obama administration has ‘consistently sided with the kingdom’ and thus thwarted their efforts to learn ‘the truth about the role some Saudi officials played in the terrorist plot.’
Obama has lobbied Congress to block the bill’s passage, according to administration officials and congressional aides from both parties, and the Saudi threats have been the subject of intense discussions in recent weeks between lawmakers and officials from the State Department and the Pentagon. Officials are in a panic warning that the diplomatic, economic and legal fallout from the legislation would be monumental and disastrous. None of these people care about America… they care about their own bank accounts and keeping dirty secrets hidden. Adel al-Jubeir, the Saudi foreign minister, delivered the kingdom’s message personally last month during a trip to Washington, telling lawmakers that Saudi Arabia would be forced to sell up to $750 billion in treasury securities and other assets in the United States before they could be in danger of being frozen by American courts. I say bring it… it is way overdue and these families deserve some closure over this. The pages which are rumored to expose Saudi Arabia’s connection to the attacks, remain classified. It’s believed the 28 pages could shed more light on the money and connections used to finance the attacks and are said to include information ‘suggesting specific sources of foreign support for some of the September 11th hijackers while they were in the United States,’ according to the chapter’s introduction in the report. It’s been 15 years since that awful day… Americans should have had the truth long ago. Regardless of the fallout and consequences, Americans want to know what are in those pages and our government doesn’t have the right to keep it hidden.
I question the notion that we will ever know the full truth about what happened on that day…
