Gene Simmons is probably best known for his role in the legendary rock group KISS as well as his time on reality TV. However, he’s become known as one of Donald Trump’s most ardent celebrity defenders, and in a recent interview with People, he revealed the one thing about Trump he loved most.
In the interview, conducted at this past Sunday’s John Varvatos 13th Annual Stuart House Benefit Presented by Chrysler (try saying that five times fast, or even once slow) in California, Simmons said that Trump’s fortune ensures his political independence.
“The important thing about Trump, and I’m not saying whether I’m voting for him, or Hilary, or anybody else, is that he has changed the game,” Simmons said.

“He doesn’t want your money. This guy funds his own campaign, and he is going to say things that tens of millions of people actually say quietly because politically it’s ‘incorrect.’”
