Animals and humans have been forming bonds since the dawn of time. However, occasionally a bond is formed that is unlike any other. The boy featured in the video below has developed a friendship with a stingray and is able to pet it and feed it by hand.
There are several different types of stingrays, found in a variety of sizes and shapes. The species is divided into eight separate families. Stingrays are almost never aggressive, but their stinger is poisonous and will be used as a weapon if the ray feels threatened.
