Cops Have Epic Dance Off With Batman Before taking Him Into Custody

I think with all of the negative stories going around about the hard working officers in our country, it is very refreshing to see them having some fun and getting involved with community projects.

Police in Monroe, Ga. got the opportunity to jump into a dance battle with the one and only Batman on Thursday before taking him into custody.

While his incarceration didn’t last long – let’s not forget that he is the Batman — it’s definitely gaining attention on social media where the video was posted on the department’s Facebook page.

Batman Running Man Challenge – City of Monroe Police Department

The City of Monroe Police Department accepted the challenge to participate in the "running man challenge" movement that is currently going around the country. It is important to remember that law enforcement officers are human and that they do interact together as a family during their time away from their personal families. Finding a small moment, like the one displayed here, to laugh and have fun is a rare opportunity that should be commemorated and not ridiculed in that their efforts are extremely dangerous and constantly have to endure extreme mental and physical stress on a daily basis. Please enjoy and remember to support your local public safety agencies (Fire, EMS, Police, etc.)So, with that being said, the City of Monroe Police Department is calling out all Atlanta Law Enforcement and Public Safety agencies to participate in the "running man challenge"!*This video is a nonprofit production.* | No tax dollars or private funds were spent in the making of this video – volunteer work only. In it, several local officers make cameos showing off their moves, seemingly unable to resist the beat.  The Caped Crusader ultimately uses this to his advantage escaping from headquarters – but not before helping the department complete the “Running Man Challenge”.

“It is important to remember that law enforcement officers are human and that they do interact together as a family during their time away from their personal families,” the post reads.

Monroe police have challenged Atlanta law enforcement to take the challenge next.

As for Batman, the search continues.

Nothing like a great hero team up than Batman and hard working officers. Thanks for all you do!
