If you ever wanted to see a small man hold his own against a big man using Jiu Jitsu, this is one of the best videos to watch.
This video was filmed on 4 April 1994 during the Gracie Challenge days when it was no holds barred fighting and other martial arts practitioners would challenge the Gracie clan.
It’s a great video as you get to see a young Pedro Sauer (who is currently an 8th Degree Red and Black belt under Rickson Gracie and the late Helio Gracie) go up against a body builder who outweighed him by about 100 pounds. The body builder’s name is Lance Batchelor and he was Mr Utah in 1992.
If it were a body building contest, Lance Batchelor would wins hands down. But too bad this was a grappling match.
