Actress Debra Messing caught some flak Wednesday for a tweet during the middle of an active shooting in Los Angeles.
As news broke that there was an active shooter on the UCLA campus, Messing sent this to her followers:
In the photo, Messing shows off a t-shirt promoting the movie “Under the Gun.” The film attempts to document Americans’ views on gun safety, but went viral after it was revealed that it had undergone deceptive editing.
The tweet was soon deleted, but that didn’t stop others from noticing it right away:
This selfie just ended death itself. Way to go, @DebraMessing! https://t.co/kg7KgJoKZ7
