This incredible Video footage shows that the Air Force’s A-10 Warthog is a very important weapon in our arsenal. The video was taken a few years ago, but it is still relevant as the U.S. continues to battle terrorism on a daily basis.
In the video, a U.S. soldier found himself engaged with and apparently surrounded by 10 or 15 insurgents in Afghanistan. The gunman fired blindly into brush only 50-100 meters away. You could hear the intensity in his voice as he attempted to fight off hidden enemies.
The soldier called upon help from an A-10 Warthog, one of the most efficient aircraft in the military.
